This year Tyler asked his Uncle Jeff to help build his derby car. He chose to make a car that resembled Uncle Jeff's race car. Papaw, Uncle Jeff, and Tyler had so much fun making the car. On race day Tyler's car did not go as fast as last year but he had so much fun. There were 11 heats with 6 rounds in each heat. It lasted forever but everyone had a great time. At the end of the race he won an award for the most aerodynamic. I am so blessed that Tyler is a kid that enjoys everything he does. There were kids that were sad to lose but Tyler just laughed it off. Maybe next year. There is also a picture of Tyler's friend, Ty. His car won best in show.
