There is nothing that says Christmas like a road trip to Grandma Vonnie and Papa Bill's house. We have always have so much fun! Every year she makes 2 big pots one of chili and one of vegetable soup! I always have so much trouble deciding which I want first. She also makes tons of her famous homemade candies!! YUM! This year the kids and big kids at heart enjoyed playing wii while the grown ups sat around and talked. After opening presents Papa Bill received his favorite surprise......a leg lamp! He was thrilled with this and could not decide on the perfect place to put it! Ansley couldn't decide which present was her favorite. She liked making cupcakes with her new cupcake maker but also enjoyed her new camp rock fake fingernails and make up. Polly Pockets were also a favorite of hers. Tyler loved Yoshi Island, a game for his DS and everyone enjoyed their SING IT! game for Wii. We had to make Jeff stop playing, our ears needed a break. Trenner's favorite gift at Grandma Vonnie and Bill's was his spiderman art set, he loves to create masterpieces. He looks forward to reading his Junie B. Jones books. We all had fun spending time together as a family. To finish the day up we always play trivia games. This year the boys had fun trying to answer the questions too. On the way home we always look at all the Christmas lights.
