Tonight after dinner we were all sitting in the family room talking and Tyler said he has a boy in his class that is half German. He said that one of the boy's parents is from Germany. He continued and said,"I told him that I was half Filipino because my Dad is from the Philippines."
For those of you that don't know, Tyler is adopted:) We smiled and said,"That's right." Now, Tyler knows he is adopted. We have always been open with him. I just think he did not make the connection in this instance.
