We Are Blessed

We are so blessed Brynlie's surgery went well.
We are so blessed to have 4 happy and healthy children.
We are so blessed to have 4 well behaved children.
We are so blessed to have a great extended family.
We are so blessed to have a house.
We are so blessed to be able to take vacations.
We are so blessed.

Recently, a family friend who after year of infertility finally conceived through IVF. I was super excited for her. I knew the pain she was feeling being childless. I knew the fear she had in her heart for the outcome of the pregnancy and I knew the blessing she was in store for with this pregnancy. She was 21 weeks along and went for a routine ultra sound. There was a cord accident. I do not know the details, which really don't matter, the baby died. She was delivered him and went home with empty arms. This makes me so sad to imagine this.I hate this for her and her family. I wish there was something I could say to take away her pain. I can't. There is nothing anyone can say to her or do to make this easier for her or her husband. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

Today I also read through some blogs that tore at my heart. They made me realize how important it is to be thankful for everyday that we have. So I am thankful for being blessed with all that I have and I pray for the families who are struggling right now!! I pray that God will provide them with the strength they need to take care of themselves and their "blessings".

I am so sorry for your friend. I had a friend lose a baby at 25 weeks this past summer. It has been really difficult for her. It is a horrible tragedy that seems so senseless.

I am glad that Bryline's surgery went well. Luke had to get tubes twice.

Thanks for reminding me to count my blessings today! I needed that!
